featuring cool tile floors and air-conditioning. The older 
rooms are also large and have red-tile floors, small 
refrigerators, ceiling fans, hammocks on their front
porches, and pilas (laundry sinks) in little gravel-and-
palm gardens behind them. Some have rustic wooden benches and chairs.
